Optometrist (O.D)

I have worked in private practice since my graduation from the École d’Optométrie of the Université de Montréal in 1994. My practice mostly developed in collaboration with ophthalmologists within multidisciplinary and refractive surgery clinics.
Since 2016, I am co-owner of the Eye Am Soins oculaires clinics where I practice optometry with a particular interest in managing ocular surface diseases and fitting specialty contact lenses. Moreover, I am a speaker and a consultant with several companies that innovate in both of those fields.
As a clinical trainer for support staff and professionals at Eye Am, one of my roles is also to develop and integrate the most innovative approaches regarding advanced eye care for the benefit of patients who consult with us.

Isabelle Jutras

Dispensing Optician

As senior dispensing optician, I am passionate about my work. I love fashion. I will find you frames that will make you step out of your comfort zone while at the same time respecting your tastes and needs.
I am responsible for the purchase of frames at the Quebec City clinic. I am confident I will win your trust right from our very first meeting. My passion is customer service with a smile and good humour.

Lucie Laurin

Optometrist (O.D), M.Sc.A.

I graduated from the Université de Montréal (O.D – 1986 and M.Sc.A. – 1990). I practice optometry and I also manage Eye Am Soins oculaires as company president.

My career path is extensive because I was assistant professor at the École d’Optométrie of the Université de Montréal, vice-president at the Ordre des Optométristes du Québec as well as executive vice-président of IRIS, Le Groupe Visuel.

I work in collaboration with several optometrists, ophthalmologists and opticians, a business model which promotes the professional practice for the greater benefit of my patients.

Nathalie Lemay

Receptionist

My role is primarily to answer all phone and email enquiries, to assist Eye Am clients who want to schedule an appointment and to inform them about the different follow-ups required for their eyes. I also welcome clients or visitors and direct them to the relevant services or professionals.
I addition, I support the administrators and professionals of the clinic by performing diverse administrative functions.
It is always a great pleasure to try to guide you in a simple and efficient manner regarding your eye health.

Olivier Rochette

Dry Eye Care Clinic Manager (Eye-gienist)

As manager of the dry eye care clinic, my main responsibility is to understand your eye health problem, inform you about our services and direct you to the most appropriate resources for your condition.
I am the person who acts as a bridge between you and your healthcare professional.
I also see to the proper functioning of the clinic in general so you can fully appreciate the Eye Am experience from the moment you make an appointment to the moment you receive the services or products you have opted for.

Véronique Matte

Optometric Assistant

My role consists in welcoming patients during their eye examination, to perform the pre-tests required by the optometrist or ophthalmologist, and to ensure their accuracy.
I establish a bond of trust with you and, of course, I make sure you have the best possible Eye Am experience.
