General Manager
From marketing to human resources and including corporate actions or services possibly issued by the enterprise, as General Manager, I have been assigned responsibility for all key business functions of the company. My role is twofold: manage daily activities, but also draw-up a strategy derived from personal reflection and ongoing communication maintained with my interlocutors – clients, suppliers, competitors, employees et partners. Stimulated by novelty and growth, my goal is to engage Eye Am in the search for opportunities and differentiation on the basis of market needs. I have deep expertise in analysis and development of strategies within the senior management team in the pharmaceutical and optics industry. I am highly experienced in differentiation and organizational effectiveness strategies. I can translate business strategies into practical organizational projects while designing scoreboards and other tools required to monitor their progress. My areas of expertise include: Planning and execution of strategies, project management, business process improvement, change management, governance, measurements and scoreboards, knowledge management, data and information analysis, healthcare industry, retail trade in the optics field.
Optometrist (O.D)
I received a doctorate degree in optometry at the Université de Montréal in 1989. My extensive clinical experience allows me to fully understand the needs of my patients and offer them the therapeutics best suited to their visual conditions. My approach to eye examination is primarily based on human relationship, listening and dialogue being the foundation of my practice. For me, optometry is a passion and I humbly think that my patients can sense it. I love teaming up with them and my reward is their loyalty. As a front line specialist in ocular health, I am particularly interested in dry eye syndrome and problems related to the use of screens, but of course I have the general expertise required to manage all visual problems. In addition, I am guided by the desire to always stay one step ahead of medical and technological advancements, making it a point to always keep my training up to date. Social involvement is important to me: I am a member of the optometrist roving team providing eye care services to the Inuit population of Quebec’s Far-North in Nunavik. Your eyes are precious to you and I can assure you that they are just as precious to me.
Optometrist (O.D)
I obtained my doctorate degree in optometry from the Université de Montréal in 2014 and consequently completed the Canadian Assessment of Competence in Optometry (CACO). After a few months of practice in an optometry clinic, wishing to perfect my knowledge, I completed an optometry eye-health residency certificate at the Institut de l'œil in the Laurentians. Since then, I have worked both in optometry and ophthalmology practices, which allows me to better understand both realities and have a broader practice. In addition, I hold the position of clinical assistant professor at the Clinique universitaire de la vision where I train the next generation. Always seeking new challenges, I became a partner at Eye Am Soins oculaires in 2018. My team spirit, my patient approach and my laughter make me an asset for the clinic and a professional that people enjoy consulting.
